Neetside Community Centre are looking for a new team member to join their latest project; Berries Community Café. The role is a permanent contract, with an anticipated start date of 28th May 2024.
Berries Community Café Caretaker & Cleaner;
12 hours a week; £11.75 per hour
This role requires someone who is self-motivated and able to prioritise, with experience of general maintenance or DIY, and a good understanding of the high standards of cleanliness required for a building like Berries Community Café. Previous experience of being a key holder and an awareness of health and safety good practice is essential and you should also have an interest in the local community and the ability to be flexible.

Berries Community Café is the sister venue to Neetside Community Centre, both buildings are managed by the charity Bude Stratton Community Project.
Berries Community Cafe extends and complements Neetside’s reach into the community by providing a single, large, informal space where communities, of all ages, can gather. From this community café central hub organisations, agencies and community groups can operate.
A first of its kind for Bude, the community café hub will enable people to come together to spend time in a warm and welcoming environment; with healthy, affordable, locally sourced-food and a variety of learning activities alongside.
