20 hours per week, Permanent, All Year Round
Pay Scale: Grade 10: £24,702 - £25,979 (£13,352 - £14,042 pro rata)
We are looking to appoint a Caretaker to join our friendly and professional premises team at Patchway Community School. The Caretaker will assist with the upkeep of the school premises and the evening running of our sports facilities, ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety as the first priority.
The successful applicant will have strong DIY skills, a knowledge of health, safety and compliance and/or willingness to learn. Wide ranging duties include opening or closing the building and taking responsibility for site safety and security. They will also have experience in a similar role.
Normal working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 6pm to 10pm but hours could vary due to letting times, so some earlier starts and later finish times may be required on an ad hoc basis.
This post will involve evening shifts and occasional weekends to cover sickness/holiday.
