L&Q is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join the Fire team within Property Services.
Covering All regions of London and outskirts.

To comply with, The fire safety regulations 2022 made it a legal requirement to carry out annual inspections on all fire doors from 23 January 2023 on multi occupied residential buildings over 11 meters height.

You will need a good knowledge of fire door maintenance.

The fire door maintenance operative will evaluate fire doors for correct installation, maintenance and repair.

Inspections will involve carrying out minor repairs and frame manipulation where necessary and clearly documenting your findings using a PDA.

You will report to the Fire safety supervisor and carry out works as instructed. Whilst meeting L&Q's corporate targets of financial strength.

Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).

We are a multi-site organisation, so some roles may require occasional travel between offices, but expenses will be covered.
