CAS Continuity Engineer
Location: Bracknell, UK travel may be required.
Your role will involve remotely managing a geographically diverse IPS/IDS, SSL decryption and FPC solution as part of an established team. A large part of the role will be resolving faults that are escalated by our 2nd line engineers. There is also a requirement to implement service changes to the production environment. Additional responsibilities include, providing continuity between an established 3rd Line Team and the 24/7 support team, producing how to guides and liaising with other dependant parties.
Your transferable skills and experience:
- A proven track record as an infrastructure engineer in an operational environment.
- A good breadth of technical skills across an enterprise environment, ideally being able to demonstrate skills in configuration and management of network probes, taps and FPC devices.
- Self-motivation. Be able to identify improvements for process and best practice, with a drive for continuous improvement along side routine tasks such as license management.
- Have the ability to work well within a team and develop a positive working relationship with other resolver teams throughout the organisation.
- Have good and clear communications when interacting with peers, management, other resolver teams, and customers.
