Job description

When you join the amazing team on the “Refugee Employability Programme” in the South East you will be joining Palladium, a global impact organisation, with 3000 employees in over 90 countries.  Be part of the national Home Office initiative that supports legally recognised refugees to ensure these individuals get tailored guidance with their journey back to employment and integration into UK society.

The Case Manager role is all about empathy, understanding and a passion in working with people to achieve sustainable employment.  You will be an independent and professional person with existing experience in the challenges that refugees face each day including housing, lack of connections and community support, finances and access to Government departments.  The skills to make an excellent Case Manager include great communication and relationship building, excellent organisational skills, determination and drive, and be solution focused.  You will have constant access to interpreters at all times but the ability to speak Dari, Pashto or Arabic will be of great advantage.

This opportunity will allow you to manage your own diary and caseload on an outreach basis.  You will be integral to your local refugee community with positive and meaningful interactions every single day therefore the ability to travel around designated caseload area is important.

For this role you will be required to show experience in:

    • Working to Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators and company standards within quality and compliance.
    • Working in a customer engagement and support focussed role
    • Experience in providing one to one support and coaching with the ability to challenge when needed.
    • A good understanding of safeguarding, GDPR and the importance of confidentiality.
