Job description

Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for an experienced client accountant, to join a rapidly growing business in Bishops Cleeve.

As a Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for managing the cash and other financial assets, banking operations, liquidity management, and short-term cash flow forecasting on behalf of clients.
You will report to the Head of Client Finance and manage the cash team in the delivery of key financial activities for internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure you deliver agreed services to clients in manner described above, Services may include but not limited to:
    • Provide oversight to the team, managing day-to-day issues and concerns, coaching and developing team members, driving performance and service delivery. Implement the necessary changes to the cash team to ensure the efficient delivery of tasks.
    • Cash management operations including daily cash administration and the management of all client bank accounts.
    • Oversee the preparation of timely bank reconciliations.
    • Manage the timely, accurate and efficient processing of transactions and ledger postings.
    • Management of guarantees and letter of credit facilities.
    • Manage relationships with key banking partners.
    • Ensuring authority matrices, banking mandates and key documentation is up to date and remains relevant.
    • Short-term Cash Flow Forecasting on behalf of clients, ensuring adequate funds available and maximize investment income.
    • Providing support to the wider team for banking account opening and administrative changes.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, third parties including our bank relationship managers and other colleagues.
  • Keep up with regulatory changes and work with clients, third parties & colleagues to ensure such changes are implemented in a controlled and timely manner.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, development and succession planning of own sub team.
  • Assist with internal / external audits for Clients.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cash management and cash forecasting is essential.
  • Exposure to investments and investment managers would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SUN/Q&A and internet banking is desirable.
