Job description

We are a football club with a desire to be the best and are always looking for talented people to join our Everton Family.
Everton is a workplace people crave to join, where extraordinary talented people belong, thrive and deliver the remarkable.
Casual Tour Guide
Who are we: Everton Football Club is one of world sport's most respected and revered names - a by-word for innovation and professionalism during the course of a glittering history that spans three centuries.
One of the 12 founder members of the Football League, Everton has played more games in English football's top flight than any other club.
While rightly proud of our rich past, and Goodison Park, our home of more than 130 years, we are now setting our sights on an exciting future at a state-of-the-art new stadium currently being constructed on the banks of the iconic River Mersey.
In doing so, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our men’s, women’s and Academy set-ups that inspire and compete at the highest level of the game.
Our values underpin how we behave, how we represent our club in our city and across the world of football, and how we look after one another and our community. They provide a framework for how we work and engage with partners, suppliers and, most importantly, our fans.
About the opportunity: As we embark on our final season at Goodison Park, we want to ensure as many fans as possible can experience the wonders and authenticity of the Grand Old Lady.
We are looking for a number of Tour Guides to join us on a casual basis as part of our fan engagement team, where you will support the delivery of Everton Football Club’s stadium tours, acting as a brand ambassador confidently delivering engaging tours to a range of group sizes and ages.
As a Tour Guide you will ensure the highest standards of customer service and health and safety are met through the tours operation at Goodison Park, whilst continuously adhering to fire regulations and security procedures.

Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for people who have an excellent knowledge of Everton Football Club and Goodison Park, who have the ability to confidently deliver tours to various groups of people. You must have a strong sense of enthusiasm to engage and educate all visitors through stories, humour and facts.
You must also be able to listen and communicate clearly and concisely, possess outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to establish positive working relationships.
This position is on a casual basis, the closing date of this advert is on Friday 22nd March 2024.

The location for this role will be based at Goodison Park.
