It is recognised as one of the UK’s most prestigious venues for sport, business, leisure and entertainment with a capacity of up to 50,000 people for concerts; 26,000 for international cricket matches; meetings and events spaces for up to 2,000 delegates; a four-star hotel with 250-bedroom Hilton Garden Inn hotel, which has 135 pitch facing rooms, and an on-site Caffè Nero.

It will be a very proactive role and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the maintenance team in operating day to day response and planned maintenance, refurbishment tasks and repairs
• Assist in preparing the Stadium to the highest standard in order to host large sporting events
• Operate a planned system of general maintenance and repairs
• To travel to each site or suppliers as required to carry out any role responsibilities
• To respond timely and with flexibility to urgent or last minute staff/service requirements.
• Be available to work on match days, including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays

Essential Requirements

• Experience of general maintenance or labouring and the ability to use basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of working to strict Health and Safety Guidelines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to completing day to day tasks effectively and timely
