Our client is looking forCat B Asbestos Removal Workers to be is responsible in safely and efficiently removing asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of Asbestos Removal procedures, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities of the CAT B Asbestos Removal are:
- Safely and effectively remove asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) following established procedures and guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment during Asbestos Removal tasks.
- Set up containment areas and establish appropriate signage to ensure the safety of workers and others on-site.
- Seal off work areas to prevent the spread of asbestos fibers.
- Pack and label asbestos waste in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with disposal facilities to ensure proper disposal of asbestos waste.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide clear and concise information about the progress of Asbestos Removal tasks.
Skills required for the Cat B Asbestos Removal are:
- Possession of Cat B Asbestos Removal Certification, Asbestos Operative Training Certificate.
- Previous experience working in Asbestos Removal.
- Familiarity with a variety of Asbestos Removal techniques and equipment.
- Strong understanding of Asbestos Removal regulations and guidelines.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments.
- The role may involve working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
