The role:

• Responsible for the interfacing of supporting functions and projects to compile and draft all RFI/RFQ documentation for issuance to the market for vessel requirements.
• Evaluate RFQ responses on a Total Cost of Ownership basis to ensure selection of the most appropriate suppliers
• Lead commercial and legal negotiations with support from the inhouse or external legal team and ensure contracts are implemented in a manner consistent with the contract terms and conditions
• Provide support to monitor key performance indicators of suppliers.
• Support our global offshore projects with the drafting of appropriate project procurement strategies
• Manage purchase orders, variations orders and invoice workflow
• Assist the vendor qualification process with suppliers in the category

Requirements:

• Experience in the maritime world with either a developer or vessel owner with good working knowledge of BIMCO contracting forms
• Proven ability to effectively understand commercial risks to minimise impacts to the project
• Ability to work to deadlines and adapt quickly to a changing work environment
• Strong communication skills in English, both orally and written, additional languages would be advantageous

Ability to travel frequently domestically and internationally as required to support delivery of your contracts
