Description

• Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service and cost-effective deals.
• Lead negotiation of contracts to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
• Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives to drive cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure supply.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and products.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
• Manage procurement projects from inception to completion.

Profile

A successful 'Senior Category Buyer' should have:

• Indirect procurement experience
• Experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing advantageous contracts.
• A thorough understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Proven ability to lead cost-saving initiatives and procurement projects.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary in the range of £45,500 - 55,00, plus up to a 10% bonus.
