My West Midlands based client is looking for an experienced Category Manager to join their team. Reporting into the Deputy Head of Procurement, your role will be to assist with the development of the procurement plan whilst driving continuous improvements across your category portfolio.
Day to day your role will focus on managing end to end procurement projects, above threshold, and ensuring that they are in line with public sector procurement legislation. You will also be responsible for leading on the tender process whilst ensuring the delivery off cost improvements and savings across your category.

The role is a permanent role with 3 days a week in the Birmingham office. The salary range is £43,742 to £50,056.
