Hard FMCategory Manager | Permanent | Hybrid Working
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a fantastic Public Sector organisation in Yorkshire to recruit a Category Manager within the Hard FM Category.
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, with the ability to work from home 3 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation going through a high growth period.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities Procurement, you'll be at the forefront of the Hard FM Category, managing and delivering complex, technical, and high-value procurements
- Developing and executing a category plan aligned with Directorate and wider organisation Procurement Strategies
- Supporting and guiding Category Officers in handling less complex, lower value procurements.
The person:
- Solid background in the public sector, ideally with Category Management experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Proficiency in NEC/JCT forms of contract
- Professional qualification, ideally MCIPS, or substantial experience is preferred
