What does your typical day look like?
Reporting to the Head of Category Insight, the Category Insight Manager’s role is crucial in providing data, insights and creative ideas for Trade PR activity.
You will be responsible for driving the use of Category Insight reporting throughout Commercial teams in FBC UK. Through this, you will provide insightful analysis and comment in response to queries from the brand marketers you are aligned with. You will also be required to manage our account with an agency on a day-to-day basis.
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
- Several years of experience in fast moving consumers goods and Category Development to at least a Category Manager level
- IT literacy: a high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Data literacy & numeracy: Strong analytical capability
- Strong time management capability: able to work proactively and independently, able to prioritise and a clear team player
- Strong interpersonal skills: including presentation, copywriting and facilitation skills
- Strong influencing skills: leadership, training, change management
- Experience working with NIQ Discover, Circana Unify, Kantar MyWorldpanel; and loyalty panels (dunnhumby / Nectar 360 etc) is preferrable
- Experience in Power BI desktop preferrable
