Category Manager - Procurement

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multinational aerospace and defence company who are recognised for their stellar results. Due to a period of growth, the team is expanding to include a new permanent Category Manager in electronics.
This is a hybrid role with minimal office requirements, so UK-wide applicants will be accepted.
Your new role
This role looks specifically at printed circuit boards, so experience in this field is a necessity. Additionally, a successful candidate will have experience in:

• Managing/mentoring a team
• Overseeing and orchestrating every part of the procurement process
• Strategic stakeholder and supplier management
• Cost and contract negotiations
• Managing complex tenders

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will stand out if you have:

• A CIPS qualification (or relevant experience)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good organisation and time management
• Unsponsored right to work in the UK is essential due to the nature of the company
