The City of Edinburgh Council would like to invite applications for the post of Senior Category Manager to join Commercial and Procurement Services (CPS).
The post, within this award winning team, is key to delivering the Council's strategic objectives and maximising the opportunity for successful delivery of economic, social, and environmental outcomes that deliver best value.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals and trainees and will require to provide support, learning and development for the CPS team and the wider Council in procurement best practice and governance. This, along with exceptional planning and project management skills, the ability to adapt quickly, be flexible when priorities change and ensure the required resources are allocated where and when needed is essential for this role.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
