About the Role:
Catering and Hospitality Assistant (Full-time, University term time only)

Salary will be £21,564 per annum pro rata (£11.44 per hour).
Are you a skilled barista with a flair for making the perfect hot drink?
Catering & Hospitality Assistants play a super-important role in the UEA’s ‘The Campus Kitchen’ in providing efficient support for barista and food service throughout the day. Working in any of our 14 outlets (with a focus on Vista, a staff and postgraduate coffee outlet) and busy hospitality department, you will assist with preparation and service of food and drinks, delivered catering, keeping our outlets clean and tidy, and even assisting at a variety of functions and events. If you are keen to work in UEA’s busy food & drink outlets and have good experience with banqueting and functions catering, this role could be perfect for you!
Is this role for me?
You will demonstrate the ability to work hard within a fast-paced environment; knowledge and experience of working busy catering outlets; consistently demonstrate great customer service; display enthusiasm and have a willingness to support your team. Previous experience of working in a hospitality environment with some barista training or experience is essential.
You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, day, weekend and evening shifts.
