Salary
£10.90 per hour plus enhancements for weekends and bank holidays

About the role
Your duties will include –
- Temperature recording
- Putting away deliveries
- Working to deadlines under your own initiative without direct supervision
- Having a flexible, team-orientated approach
- Washing up
- To undertake general cleaning duties as directed by the Chef Manager
- To help maintain kitchen, cooking areas, storeroom and kitchen equipment in a clean and safe condition
- Prepare food such as salads/sandwiches/vegetables under the guidance of the cook
- Cater for dietary and allergy requirements
- Mandatory training modules and company Food Hygiene Training must be completed
We’re looking for people who have a flexible, team-orientated approach and who are comfortable working in the hospice environment. Food Hygiene Level 2 and/or previous experience of catering in a care environment would be preferred.
Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, access to your own transport is essential.
