About the Role
Hanover are recruiting for a number of friendly and positive individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant at our Victoria Court development in Hamilton.
Main Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the reheating/serving of previously prepared hot meals in accordance with the Associations procedures. To prepare light evening meals of heatig up previous prepare evening meals.
- To maintain standards of food hygiene and presentation at satisfactory and high levels.
- To ensure kitchen area, serves, utensils, storage and disposal areas are maintained in a clean condition, satisfactory environmental health and food regulation conditions. To wash all utensils/dishes as required.
- To adhere to the developments Cooksafe procedures.
- To clean common areas i.e offices, corridors, lounges, staff room etc.
- To clean guest bedroom accomodation: bath and shower areas and residents' flat lets where appropriate
About You
- To join us, you need to have a genuine passion for helping people
- Ideally, one year's experience in a similar / equivalent role
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to emphasise with vulnerable adults
- Demonstrate professional conduct and detachments in working with potentially vulnerable customers
- Basis IT skills
