Job Description
- Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records and financial statements.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards of reports and financial data.
- Assisting with the audit process with external auditors
- Supporting key, senior external and internal stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Advise management about issues such as budgeting and forecasting, process improvement and efficiency
- Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
- A solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good business acumen for problem solving.
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
