Catering Assistant

Staffline have a great opportunity to work as a Catering Assistant for our client based in Magor.
- This is a permanent vacancy with an immediate start available
- Various days available: 5 days a week
- Various hours available: 6.30 am- 2.30 pm OR 2.30pm-10.30pm OR 10.30pm-6.30am OR 9am-2pm OR 3pm-9pm
- Location: Magor (NP26)
- Pay rate: from £11.00p/h
Your Time at Work
As a Catering Assistant, you will work to support the chefs and kitchen team in our busy onsite canteen. Some of your duties will include:
· Serving meals to both our guests and staff
· Ensuring food is stored correctly and rotated in accordance with HACCP regulations
· Basic food preparation e.g., setting up cereals, salad bar and drinks
· Assist with unpacking of deliveries
· Keeping the kitchen and restaurant area clean, including cleaning trays, changing bins sweeping and mopping the floor
· Ensuring health and safety and cleanliness regulations are met
· Being aware of the daily menu and different dietary requirements
· At particularly busy times, you may be asked to support in other departments such as Housekeeping
