Hours: 16 per week, 38 weeks sessional
Trinity Primary School - 2 x 16 hour per week
Mobile North West - 1 x 16 hour per week
Blackhall Primary School - 2 x 10 hour per week

Who we are? Edinburgh Catering Services operate across 100 schools and various commercial buildings including the capitals prestigious City Chambers. You could join the 600 staff we have across Edinburgh delivering over 24,000 meals daily to schools, nurseries, lunch clubs and office buildings, making us the largest catering operation in the capital.
Every one of our employees contributes to the success of our organisation and most importantly the health of over 24,000 pupils daily. We are an award-winning service and are very proud to deliver high quality catering services. What we do? In over 100 schools, all our meals are produced from scratch every day, using local producers and fresh produce. Our teams of highly trained cooks, Catering Assistants and managers work to contribute to the good health of the next generation. Our cooks within schools must be highly adaptable to varying special diets, intolerances and nutritional guidance
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
