We are currently searching for a Part Time Catering Assistant to join our team.
Working hours are between 7.30am - 4.30pm and the position will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Job Purpose
To assist and support the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness in accordance with the current Food Safety Policy.
- Wash crockery and utensils
- Daily clean of kitchen areas
- Deep clean of kitchen equipment
- Ad hoc till operation duties
- Ad hoc meal prep duties
- Keep stores areas neat and tidy
- Keep refrigeration and freezers organised
- Report failing equipment to Supervisor
- Report Health and Safety hazards to Supervisor
- Communicate effectively with staff
- Contribute to stock taking as required
- Provide Porter support with deliveries
- Provide porter support in all areas controlled by Roof Top Garden Restaurant
- Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
- Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
The Person
- 6 months experience in a similar working environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team with self-motivation and initiative.
- Good communication skills.
