Catering Supervisor

As a Catering Supervisor at Sodexo in Dorset Police, Radipole Lane, Weymouth.  You'll supervise a small catering team, this site operates 365 days a year. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the catering department, to ensure delivery of all our food services meet client requirements.

What you’ll do: 

You must comply with Company and Statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
Servicing all areas in accordance to the output specification
Adhere to KPI procedure.
To take responsibility for your department record keeping, ensuring audit trails are available at all times.
To follow ROL, recording allergen information and display accordingly.
To oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen and ancillary and outside areas including all light and heavy equipment as detailed in the cleaning schedule and directed by the line manager.
Accounting, cash flow and monthly reporting to CM
Temperature monitoring, calibrating equipment
Overseeing all food preparation.
Team meetings
Review and follow cleaning schedules.
Support colleagues as required

What you bring: 

Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of catering/allergens/basic cooking skills, as well as some team leading experience. 
Excellent customer service and communication skills 
Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed 
Excellent communication
Be a team player and take instruction

Shifts between 07:00-15:00 
Flexibility needed to support when the business requires
£12.50 - £12.70 per hour 
Rate of pay will be uplifted in April
