This role is an audio typing role, so excellent typing skills are a must and a typing test will form part of the interview process, alongside a formal interview.
This particular vacancy will be supporting the Women's & Children service; knowledge of medical terminology will be beneficial however not essential. The ideal candidate will have exceptional secretarial skills and proven experience audio typing with a medical background.
You should demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, be self-motivated, able to prioritise a busy workload, work to deadlines, have a flexible approach to duties and hold a relevant secretarial / audio / word-processing qualification ideally with previous NHS /medical experience however this is not essential.
A good range of secretarial skills, including knowledge of medical terminology and audio word-processing/typing is required. The ability to organise your day, prioritise your tasks and work as part of a team are also desirable. You should be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties.
