CCTV Bus Installation Engineer

£38,000 - £42,000 + Unlimited Overtime
Our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions in auto electrical systems and vehicle CCTV technology, is on the lookout for skilled Field Service Engineers with experience in vehicle CCTV technology to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on buses and coaches, focusing on auto electrical systems and CCTV equipment.
- Technical Support: Providing technical support to ensure optimal functioning of auto electrical systems and CCTV equipment.
- Installation & Configuration: Installing and configuring mobile CCTV equipment, including DVRs, routers, cameras, and 4G/WiFi systems, adhering to installation procedures.
- Fault Diagnosis: Utilising your knowledge of auto electrical systems to diagnose and resolve issues on various types of vehicles.
- Programming & Record-Keeping: Programming equipment on-site and maintaining accurate records using online reporting tools.
- Communication: Collaborating effectively with team members and communicating with clients at all levels.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience working on buses/coaches is essential.
- Proficiency in auto electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Familiarity with mobile CCTV equipment, installation procedures, and Timespace equipment (experience with DVRs, routers, cameras, 4G/WiFi for ideally 2 years, minimum 1 year).
- Strong IT skills, including the ability to program equipment and maintain records using online reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work night shifts (4 on, 4 off), with a 10-hour shift from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.
