Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst

West Malling – Mid Kent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client a market leading Financial Services firm based in Kent. We are seeking an experienced and career driven Customer Due Diligence professional to join an award-winning team based in West Malling. You will conduct Customer Due Diligence on new and existing customers, including complex arrangements as well as supporting the team manager with workflow to ensure an excellent level of service is provided.

Duties for this role include but are not limited to:

• To carry out due diligence on the overseas outgoing and incoming payments by use of appropriate searches, internet searches and customer information, allocating the correct risk rating to the payment.
• Be responsible for reviewing customer account records, including enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers and PEPs to establish any changes which may affect their services.
• Responsible for requesting any outstanding documentation from the customer in order to satisfy AML requirements.
• Be a subject matter expert in CDD processes and related policies
• To respond to enquiries from customers in accordance with business standards and Policies.
• To work with other teams to ensure excellent customer service.

The successful candidate must have/be:

• You’ll have substantial experience working in a CDD team
• Be able to deliver training and coaching to team colleagues, stakeholders and internal customers, on CDD matters.
• Be proactive in keeping up to date with changes to policy, processes and industry guidance
• Have excellent attention to detail, thorough and well organised
• Have or working towards ICA qualification, advanced certificate as a minimum
