Centre Manager

Shankill Parish Caring Association brings people together to promote and facilitate understanding, reconciliation and compassionate responses to social need in Lurgan, Craigavon and the surrounding areas.

Shankill Parish Caring Association (SPCA) are recruiting for a Centre Manager for the Jethro Centre in Lurgan.

Salary £37,500

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking individual with leadership and management experience to join our team to become our Centre Manager, where you will have overall responsibility for the day to day management of the Centre.

The successful applicant will help SPCA to achieve its vision as outlined in the Strategic Plan as driven by the ethos and values of the organisation and to deliver its aims and objectives including, but not limited to, the ongoing daily management and development to its full potential, of the Jethro Centre.

This role will be reporting to the Chair of SPCA Board.

Key requirements for this role

• Third level qualification in a relevant discipline (E.g Business or Community Development); OR Educated to at least A-level equivalent with subsequent relevant accredited qualifications PLUS 5 years’ experience in a business, public sector or Community/Voluntary setting
• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in either the voluntary, public sector, community or business sector.
• Minimum 2 years management experience
• Proven experience in project management, management of teams and ability to motivate staff and volunteers.
• A strong track record of delivering income growth through fundraising, grant applications, sales, PR and marketing (including use of social media platforms
