Please note, this post is fixed term for 24 months, and full time at 1 FTE Closing Date: Wednesday 21 February 2024 Interview Date: Wednesday 06 March 2024 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Assistant to contribute to the growth and delivery of the Centre for Innovation in Fatherhood and Family Research.  The Centre builds on the foundations of a UKRI funded Future Leaders Fellowship study, called ‘Following Young Fathers Further’ (FYFF), under the Directorship of Professor Anna Tarrant. The study, which commenced in January 2020, was an ambitious participatory, qualitative longitudinal and international comparative study that aims to understand and transform the way society constructs and responds to young fathers (aged 25 and under). Further information about the study can be found at: http://followingyoungfathersfurther.org.  You will be based in the new Centre, located in the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, (COASSH) at the University of Lincoln. The Centre is also aligned with the School of Social and Political Sciences, which houses Politics and International Relations, Criminology, Social Policy, and Sociology. You will work closely with the Centre Manager and other colleagues and will be involved in: the continued analysis and management of the Following Young Fathers Further dataset; employing appropriate social science research methodologies in evaluations, consultancy, and other research projects; and the creation of a training programme in father-inclusive practice.  The University of Lincoln has established a reputation as one of the most dynamic, fastest growing universities in the UK.
