CFO PE-Backed Professional Services Business

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a respected, International PE-backed Professional Services Business of considerable scale, in search of a best-In-class CFO to lead the finance function. Partnering with the CEO and a commercially astute senior management team, the CFO will play a key role in achieving the private equity firm's ambitious targets, guiding the business through a planned period of strategic growth towards an exit in the near future

As CFO, you will be a key player in the development of utilisation rates and project management metrics which will act as key measures for managing performance and billability for ongoing projects. Partnering with the CEO and PE house, you will set the strategic direction of the business, target and integrate further acquisitions, and present business and market analysis to stakeholders and the leadership team.

As CFO you will be a valued contributor to executive-level strategy through preparation of detailed and incisive performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting. As well as automation of systems, processes and controls to enable rapid growth via commercialisation of the business.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered
• Experience of being a CFO in a PE-Backed business within the Professional Services and/or related Sectors, experience within an International business would be preferred but not required
• A high level of motivation, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to be involved at all levels.
• Track record of scaling up a business and taking it through an exit
• Able to manage a large finance team and also work closely with the Private Equity house.
• Managing working capital and creating "value add" finance functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and as a leader within the business and inspire others in a fast paced and challenging environment.
