Charge Nurse - Kincaid House

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Charge Nurse to join them in Kincaid House Care Home. Kincaid House is a modern care home in Inverclyde which boasts beautiful views of the River Clyde and mountains beyond. The care home caters for frail elderly residents and also has a dedicated unit for people living with dementia.

Your role as a Meallmore Charge Nurse will include:

• Providing leadership to ensure the highest standards of care and clinical practice
• Oversee and coordinate the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.
• Develop and implement individualised and person-centred care plans based on residents' needs and preferences.
• Monitor and assess residents' health, promptly addressing any changes or medical concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications and skills:

• At least two years Care Home experience
• Relevant nursing qualification (RGN, RMN or RLDN)
• Current registration with the NMC
• Well-developed clinical knowledge
• The ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
• Professional confidence with a calm approach and the ability to set professional    boundaries
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative approach to your work
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks

Salary: £43,217.00 per annum + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 37.37 per week
