Hyde Charitable Foundation Officer

Up to £27,500

Hyde is looking to recruit a Charitable Foundation Officer.

As a Charitable Foundation Officer at Hyde, you will act as the first point of contact for the Advice and Advocacy team, responsible for pre- and post-advice engagement with customers; ensuring timely access to advice services and grants for both Hyde residents and partnership organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a responsive and customer focused front line service to all internal and external customers in all channels
  • Undertake basic assessment of customer needs and addressing any emergencies appropriately
  • Provide information, advice and guidance to customers referred for Advice and Advocacy services, including signposting to appropriate external services, scheduling access to internal services, or providing guidance to grant and bursary applicants on the completion of application forms and monitoring forms
  • Raise purchase orders ensuring correct coding and appropriate approval authorisations are in place.
  • Comply with Advice and Advocacy service promise to contact all residents referred for advice within agreed timescales.
  • Undertake proactive contacts to customers to promote engagement with Advice and Advocacy services
  • Manage and operate systems for administrating referrals and case work
  • Provide project administration for interdepartmental projects, and external partnership work

Skills and experience required

  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Previous administration or call centre experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to process information accurately and efficiently
  • Knowledge of Workday and Northgate, and previous experience in Housing is advantageous but not essential.
