Service Manager required in Exeter within a charity that supports vulnerable and at-risk individuals who have a recent history of homelessness and are moving on from first stage accommodation.
- £31,400 per year
- 37.5 hours per week
- Working 5 days a week and participating in an out of hours call rota, which may include weekend and evening working as required.

About the job
- Lead the staff team to provide expert support to Service Users in identifying and progressing their needs and personal goals.
- Maintain service performance to agreed targets
- Lead the effective recruitment, induction and ongoing support / development of staff and volunteers
- Provide planning, leadership and direction, meeting statutory and organisational quality standards
- Undertake and coordinate Service User Assessment and manage a selective caseload of clients
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of any relevant buildings, including maintenance and safety issues, ensuring that regular inspections (internal and external) are made and monitored
The right candidate
- Full driving licence and access to own car for work purposes
- Experience of staff team management, including experience of recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, training, discipline and grievance issues
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of rough sleeping, multiple complex social need and the causes of homelessness
- Previous experience providing a high quality housing management and support service, managing a budget and financial systems
- Good oral, written, administration and IT communication skills
