Chartered Quantity Surveyor

We are a leading consultancy firm that provides cost management, commercial management, and project management services for a range of public sector clients. We work on projects such as schools, hospitals, highways, infrastructure, and more.
As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Estimating the cost of materials, labour, and equipment for various construction projects
- Preparing tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts with contractors, suppliers, and clients
- Monitoring and controlling costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle
- Reporting on the financial performance and progress of the project
- Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
- Liaising with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and project managers
- Ensuring compliance with legal standards and quality requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline
- A chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public sector construction projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude
- A willingness to travel and work on site as required
