```Duties```
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets the quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Monitor food production to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create new dishes and improve existing menu items

- Proven experience as a chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise kitchen staff
- Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
