Chef de Cuisine

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

The Client:

I am working with a distinguished culinary destination, renowned for its French cuisine and inviting atmosphere, is currently seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join their team.
This role presents a remarkable opportunity to lead the kitchen in a renowned dining establishment, a lot of growth opportunities, lively atmosphere, and company perks!

Responsibilities:

• Manage the culinary operations, ensuring guests are provided with an outstanding experience
• Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and to the highest standards
• Recruit a high performing team.
  Train staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
• Establish appropriate staffing levels and conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members
• Manage inventory, labour and food costs

Chef de Cuisine Requirements:

• 3+ years of kitchen management experience in a similar role
• Possess a hands-on attitude
• Strong financial acumen and leadership skills
• Genuine passion for food and dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences
