We are looking for a Chef de Partie to work within the kitchen of our iconic Wedgwood Tea Room at our award-winning tourist destination, World of Wedgwood. World of Wedgwood is the home of Stoke-on-Trent’s most prestigious ceramics brand, Wedgwood, in Barlaston (5 minutes from Trentham).
Reporting to the Head Chef you will assist in the production and service of food in order to deliver the ultimate luxury experience to all guests. As the site is growing with new facilities and activities, you will be involved in delivering exciting events/conferences and also staff catering.
To be a successful Chef de Partie you will:
- have previous experience of working in a similar role, with fresh food in a busy kitchen
- have creative flair and a passion for food
- possess an eye for detail and be focused on delivering excellent customer service standards
- be fully conversant with and be able to implement the required standards of food hygiene
- have the ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team, including the wider World of Wedgwood team
- have a ‘can-do’ attitude
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days from 7. Daily hours of work are 8.00am to 4.00pm. (Evening work may be required on occasion by prior arrangement).
