Job Summary:
Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting a Chef de Partie on behalf of our French bistro client. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef looking for the next step in their career.

Job Role:
· Ensure an efficient and professional kitchen operation.
· To produce all necessary food for all food service operations and ensure the smooth running of your section.
· Learn the ordering system of stock for your section of the kitchen.
· To tutor and help develop junior team member in the brigade.
· Ensure the highest standard of food service is delivered at all times.
· Produce and present dishes, using standardised recipes.
· To ensure that all equipment is clean and in good working condition.
· Accurate physical stock takes of all food within the restaurant.
· Manage portion and waste control and correct use of consumables.
Skills and Experience:
· Previous experience at least Commis Chef level in a bistro style restaurant preferred.
· Passionate about food and keeping up to date with current trends and cooking techniques.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure.
· Strong team player
