Salary: Up to £14 per hour DOE
Xander Catering Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our catering team at Manchester Airport. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic culinary operation, providing high-quality meals to the dedicated staff working on the terminal upgrade.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Station Management: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauces, grill, pastry) and ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality.
Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to contribute ideas for menu enhancements and improvements.
Quality Control: Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Team Support: Work closely with kitchen team members to coordinate food production and service.
Stock Management: Assist in stock rotation, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with project staff and stakeholders, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and cooking.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
