Job description

A fantastic Chef de Partie/ Junior Sous Chef job in Port Appin (Argyll and Bute), has become available at The Pierhouse Hotel.

This is a breath-taking 12-bedroom hotel and Michelin guide/ 2 AA Rosetted Seafood Restaurant that is currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment due for completing at the end of February. (Still apply if you are looking for a sooner start date, as there will be a training/onboarding period).

Depending on your level of experience, we are open to considering you as either a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef… so don’t hesitate to apply regardless of your past Chef experience – we would love to speak and offer excellent training and development and don’t specifically require Rosette experience.

Chef de Partie/ Junior Sous Chef job in Port Appin, Highlights:

  • Working week of 4 and a half days.
  • 45 Hours per week.
  • Junior Sous Chef pay is £32,000 + approximately £300 per month in tips.
  • Chef de Partie pay is £13 per hour + approximately £300 per month in tips.
  • Full time/ year-round.
  • Paid overtime or time back in lieu.
  • Free staff meals on shift.
  • Rotated shifts to ensure fair weekends off.
