Chef de Partie
£16,755 per annum
(Permanent, part time position - 20 hours/week)
An opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our friendly team of chefs who prepare a range of high quality food, including fine dining, to the College community and commercial guests. You will be expected to ensure the highest possible standards of food preparation and presentation and will have the opportunity to extend your skills and learn additional techniques from the other chefs.

Hours of work include a mix of shifts over a seven-day rota. Staff are expected to take some of their holidays during the Christmas closure, which extends into the New Year.
To be considered for this interesting role, you will need to have:
- a positive track record, gained in a busy commercial environment
- an NVQ Level 2/3 in Catering or equivalent and a certificate in Food Hygiene
- excellent culinary skills
- the ability to achieve, and maintain, a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and be able to cover colleagues’ absences.
The salary is £16,755 per annum for a 20 hour/week (Step 40 of the College scale) plus generous benefits including £1,000 retention bonus.
