Chef (Full Time)

Reggies is a new Street Food Restaurant offering in Padstow PL288BS. Our head Reggie has been in Padstow working since 2015. He is now settled with his family and we have collaborated with him in bringing this new exciting dining experience to the town.

All of his cooking has been developed by his mum in India and the spice mixes he uses are curated by him from high grade spices sent to us direct from Mumbai. His passion for the street food of Mumbai is totally unique and one not found on the high street...this is most defiantly not a run of the mill curry house!!!!

```Job Summary:```
We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join Reggie.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food production and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

If you have a passion for spices and/or experience in a similar role or would like to develop skills in spices and regional food, we would love to hear from you!

```Duties:```
-execute menus in accordance with customer preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients
- Have a desire to help produce unforgettable food
- love to create memorable dining experiences
- Help maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Help ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Assist in the preparation of all dishes, ensuring they are prepared to the highest standards
- Ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of meals

```Experience:```
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and culinary techniques
- Experience in Indian flavours desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant industry trends and customer preferences
- Culinary qualifications or certification is preferred but not required
