Mobile Chef

From £14.86 to £16.36 per hour

**42 hours per week, including alternate weekends (includes paid breaks)**

Introduction

We’re looking for a passionate Chef to join our team and become a valued part of day-to-day life in our home, St Catherines View and Abbotts Barton, plus our care homes in the surrounding areas.

You’ll take the lead within our well-equipped kitchen, using your creativity to develop and deliver exciting dishes. Our food complements the luxury surroundings. We use locally sourced fresh produce to provide that home-from-home taste to our meals selected using resident feedback.

Talking with our residents and understanding their needs, you’ll produce wholesome, well-balanced and nutritious meals to aid their health and wellbeing and tantalise their taste buds too!

You’ll lead both the kitchen and waiting staff to deliver a first-class dining experience, inspiring them through development, motivation, creativity and encouragement, making a difference to our residents’ day, every day.

And all shifts finish at 6:30pm, so you’ll enjoy that all-important work-life balance!

About You

You’ll have an infectious enthusiasm for what you do and a genuine passion for creating an exceptional resident dining experience. You’ll be a natural communicator, a team player with a can-do attitude and a sense of fun. You’ll be a car driver and own your own car, as you’ll be covering two homes during the working week.

You’ll take pride in understanding our residents’ needs and leading them through a unique and exciting food journey, building lasting relationships along the way.

You’ll have qualified to City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ Level 3 in Catering / Cookery, and have previous experience in a similar role. Whatever your signature dish is we want to hear from you. Join the team and make a real difference to the dining experience each and every day.
