About the role:
We're recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team at Bracknell and Wokingham College to ensure all aspects of food service and hospitality are professionally delivered, maintained, and overseen to provide excellent service to our customers.
In this role you'll supervise the Food Service team working in our Recharge Outlet to supply a daily hot food and refreshment service alongside outstanding customer service to staff, pupils and visitors. You'll also enable the development and training of your team, both through supervision while working and through regular 1-1s.
Alongside this you'll be responsible for regular food ordering, banking processes and restocking.
This is a permanent, full-time position working during term time (0.84 FTE) at our Bracknell and Wokingham College Campus.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
The successful candidate will have previous experience in food service, specifically within a similar catering outlet, excellent customer service skills and a food hygiene certificate at basic level with a willingness to work towards your advanced qualification. You should have some experience with the financial requirements of a catering operation.
We're looking for candidates with strong organisational skills and an eye for detail, with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. You'll require excellent team working skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
