With a primary focus on Neapolitan pizza and a broader array of Italian cuisine including pasta, our establishment gives traditional flavours to the community.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Chef to join our team and positively contribution to the culinary operations of our new restaurant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute their expertise in collaboration with our Executive & Head Chefs in executing our menu, showcasing authentic Neapolitan pizza and diverse Italian dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Execute a diverse menu featuring authentic Neapolitan pizza and various Italian dishes like pasta, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
- Contribute to all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating, maintaining consistency and excellence across the menu.
- Work as part of the team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels, oversee food sourcing, and manage kitchen expenses while ensuring high-quality ingredients are utilised.
- Implement and uphold strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or senior culinary role in Italian cuisine, showcasing expertise in Neapolitan pizza making and broader Italian cooking techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, including pasta dishes, sauces, and traditional cooking methods.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work within a kitchen team effectively.
- Creative flair and the ability to innovate while preserving authenticity in recipes and menu offerings.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required during restaurant operating hours.
