We are currently inviting applications for the position of  Chef de Partie to join our team. 

About The Role

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assisting with the preparation of dishes to suit our guests needs.

  • Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the senior chefs to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant.

  • Coordinates daily tasks with the Senior Chef

  • Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are always of the highest quality.

  • Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.

  • Follows good HACCP practices for the proper handling and preparation of all food products at the right temperature.

  • Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.

  • Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.

  • Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.

 

Requirements

  •  Previous experience working in a kitchen.

  • 3rd level qualification is desired but not essential.

  • Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative

Desired Criteria

  • 3rd level qualification is desired but not essential.
