Ourclient is a well established manufacturing company based just north of Dublin whoare currently on the market for an experienced Head of Human Resources.
This is a key strategic role and the successful candidate will sit onthe Senior LeadershipTeam, helping to set the strategic vision and culture of the site. You willmentor and coach the senior team to cultivate a high-performance mindset,whilst working collaboratively across multiple departments.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a culture ofhigh-performance coaching and succession planning.
- Ensure implementation of HRstrategy in alignment with business needs.
- Lead HR change initiatives andcontribute to business change activities.
- Lead and empower a small team tomanage HR functions on site.
- Support local talent acquisitionprogram.
- Enable the business to develop adiverse, robust talent pipeline.
- Manage site relationships,particularly union.
- Develop succession planningroadmaps and a talent pipeline.
- Support the delivery of optimumtraining and development plans for the team.
Criteria:
- Degree qualified (ideally HR) witha minimum of 8 -10 years experience in a senior HR role
- Working knowledge of Irish employmentlegislation.
- Experienced in working closelyand collaboratively with unions.
- Excellent negotiation skills andability to influence at a Senior Management level.
- Readily accepts ownership,accountability, and responsibility in delivering effective solutions.
- Excellent team player.
Salary is in excess of €100k with a benefitspackage including bonus scheme, healthcare, pension.
