Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and managing kitchen staff.
Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create new menu items and ensure consistent food quality
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide training as needed
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus
Skills:
- Strong background in hospitality and culinary arts
- Proficient in food safety standards and practices
- Experience in food production and menu planning
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
- Previous experience in restaurant management or team management
