What you'll be doing;

• To collect wastes from customer sites and ensure the safe
  
• To list, package and label wastes and assess drums and their contents at customer premises
  
• To pump, decant and re-drum rusty or leaking containers
  
• Assessment of new enquiries and provide technical knowledge to customers/company employees
  
• To assist when needed at a transfer station
  
• Supervision of dangerous loads and sampling of wastes
  
• Maintain adequate stock levels of routine supplies
  
• Accurate completion of all documentation and quick processing of all paperwork to facilitate customer expectations
  
• Other duties as assigned by management
  

What we're looking for;

• Candidates will have a science-based HND or equivalent qualification ideally in Chemistry.
  
• They will have knowledge and/or experience of hazardous waste.
  
• It is preferable for candidates to also have COSHH and health and safety understanding.
  
• As the role is mobile, candidates must hold a valid driving licence, and be comfortable driving a 3.5t van.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers are essential.
