Job description

About the Charity

The Wolfpack Project was created with a vision to help young people across Nottinghamshire to access consistent, impactful support services that improve mental health and combat loneliness. After five successful years of growth, charity awards and stability, impacting the lives of thousands of young people, our founder, Damien Reynolds BEM, is stepping back to allow new leadership talent to guide Wolfpack through our next exciting stage of development. The charity is in a strong position with a committed Board and a truly fantastic operational team, as well as a hugely engaged group of young people and volunteers. As the country faces a growing mental health epidemic among young people, Wolfpack is perfectly placed to grow, thrive and increase its impact across the County.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, entrepreneurial and inspirational leader who aligns with our mission and values to guide us into a new future.

Role Description

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead staff and volunteers to successfully achieve objectives and execute on the charity’s mission & vision. Maintain and develop relations with staff, volunteers, corporate partners, donors & broader stakeholder groups.
  • Inspire and engage staff and volunteers, providing direction and clarity of purpose.

Create a diverse network of sustainable funding opportunities and partnerships with the public sector, corporate partners, individuals, trusts and foundations, media, events, and community groups.
  • Exercise financial reporting best practices to ensure that Trustees are provided with timely and accurate management accounts, including information on budgets, cash flow and financial performance.

  • Oversee the recruitment, management, leadership and development of all staff and volunteers, ensuring application of good HR practices and engagement of necessary support.
  • The above list is indicative only and not exhaustive. The CEO will be expected to perform all such additional duties as are reasonably commensurate with the role.
